Magnolia State Notary offers mobile notary public services, including witnessing and notarizing legal documents at a time and place convenient for the client. Services are provided according to applicable Louisiana notary laws and regulations. Contact us for questions about your specific document requirements.

We reserve the right to refuse notarization in the following situations:

• The signer lacks proper identification.

• The document does not meet legal requirements. 

• The signer is unwilling, under duress, or found incompetent.

• The act would violate state notary commission parameters or ethical guidelines.

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide valid, government-issued photo identification at the time of service.

• Render agreed upon payment at time of service.
  

• Ensure all signers are present, willing, and mentally competent.
  

• Respect time of all parties involved by being on time.

• Present unsigned documents ready for notarization.
  Inform us in advance of any special requirements.
  

• Failure to meet these requirements may result in refusal of service and/or applicable fees.

Appointments may be scheduled via phone call, text message, or email.

Appointments aren't guaranteed until a time and location are mutually agreed upon and a confirmation text or email has been sent.

We reserve the right to reschedule due to emergencies, weather, traffic, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Travel fees are based on distance from the notary's location to the client’s site.

If the notary must wait more than 15 minutes beyond the scheduled time, a waiting fee may apply.

Travel fees are non-refundable once travel has began.

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.

Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a travel fee.

No-shows or inability to proceed with notarization upon arrival may result in full charge for travel and time.

Fees are based on standard notary charges, travel distance, waiting time, and any additional services (e.g., printing or document preparation).

All fees will be communicated before the appointment and must be paid in full at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed. 

We accept cash, credit/debit, ACH, Google & Apple Pay, and Cash App payments through secure payment processor. Payment arrangements for invoices over $100 must be requested and agreed upon before services are rendered.

Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment and considered on a case by case basis. Document preparation, copies, and travel fees are not refundable.
